Can I request scans of documents from Special Collections & Archives for my research?


We are offering a "Scan on Demand" service for archival researchers. Instead of visiting the archives in person, researchers can submit requests for documents remotely. Archives staff will scan requested materials, send them electronically to researchers, and add them to the online database.

Here's how to request Scan on Demand:

  1. Search our online archives database
  2. Select an archival folder from the search results
  3. Hit the "Aeon Request" button in the upper right corner
  4. (The first time you use this service, you will need to set up a free account)
  5. Select "Request Copy" and review your order
  6. Click "Submit Request" to complete the document request

Currently scan-on-demand requests do not involve a fee. If you would like to provide a monetary donation to the archives, please consult this form.
