How long can I keep my books?

How long can I keep my books?

Answer

Book loans will vary by who owns the book.

  • Books and government documents owned by UB can be checked out for 4 weeks with up to 2 renewals.
  • Books on reserves are typically in-library use only, with a two-hour limit. A reserve may be renewed if it has not been requested by another patron. Outside-library use is determined by the instructor.
  • Books borrowed through InterLibrary Loan (ILL) or InterCampus loan will have a due date specified by the library that owns the book.  Check your ILL account, or your library account for due dates.
