Access to an "e-book" or an "electronic source"

How do I access an "e-book" or an "electronic source"? So I can take a look at the source.

Answer

Ebooks in our catalog typically open with Adobe Digital Editions (which is a free download).

Using ADE will collect the ebooks you check out from the library in a digital bookshelf and save where you left off reading.  It will automatically delete the book from your computer after the loan period, so you don't have to worry about taking up space on your hard drive because you forgot you saved the book.

To read the ebook:

  1. Check out the book as a "full download", then open it in Adobe Digital Editions to read it (option 1).
  2. Download the PDF (option 2.).
